Jeff Cook is a trusted advisor and transformational operator with more than 20 years in the sawmill and building-products industry — most recently as Operating Partner, Corporate Development at Building Industry Partners (BIP), a Boston PE firm focused exclusively on the U.S. building sector.

As President & CEO of Binford Supply, he grew the business 3× in revenue and 5× in EBITDA in four years, expanded headcount from 90 to 200, and delivered one of the largest returns in his sponsor's portfolio. He went on to help form Fencing Supply Group — today the largest fencing distribution platform in the world — leading roughly a dozen acquisitions and three greenfields across an 18-month build.

Earlier, as EVP of Alta Forest Products, he drove 4× revenue and 8× EBITDA growth and a 5.5× return for ownership, earning The Home Depot's Vendor of the Year in 2017. JC Strategy distills that operating record into repeatable advisory engagements for sponsors and management teams.

JC Strategy operates from a simple conviction: People = Performance, and culture beats strategy every time. The organization is drawn upside-down — the customer and the people closest to them carry the most importance; leadership exists to teach, remove friction, and serve.
